Ashley Wilburn, a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, proudly comes from North Hagerstown High School, where she completed her secondary education. Ashley Wilburn's practice in law is focused on family law. She has a passion for it. She concentrates her practice on divorce cases, alimony issues marital property division and child custody battles as well as child support arrangements. She also handles the post-divorce and enforcement of issues including step-parent adoptions as well as private adoptions for parties as well as concerns about child welfare. Ashley has been a mediator appointed by the court since the year. She assists parties in resolving their disputes without the necessity of litigation or court involvement. In addition to mediations arranged by the court, Ashley also mediates in private cases for individuals who would like to avoid the litigation and court process.

Ashley completed her undergraduate studies in History and Politics at Loyola University of Maryland. She then pursued her legal education at Western New England University School of Law. In 2013, she graduated, and excelled in her studies, placing among the top 10 students in her class. During her time in law school, Ashley served as a Note Editor for the esteemed Western New England Law Review which showcased her dedication to legal research and scholarship.

After completing her law degree, Ashley embarked on a clerkship, working for notable jurists in Connecticut and Maryland. She had the honor of working as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard A. Robinson and the Honorable Elliott D. Prescott at the Connecticut Appellate Court. In 2014, she returned home to Hagerstown, Maryland, to serve as an attorney for the Honorable M. In 2015, Ashley joined the esteemed law firm of Poole & Kane, P.A. as an associate attorney. Her primary focus at the firm involved representing the Washington County Department of Social Services in cases involving child welfare. Through her dedicated efforts, Ashley played a vital role in helping children who had suffered abuse or neglect at the by their parents or caregivers. Her commitment to social justice extended beyond the realm of law as she actively served as an executive member of the Washington County Human Trafficking Task Force, working diligently to educate the public about human trafficking in the tristate area.

In 2017, she was a founding member of Kane, Wilburn & Stone, P.A., where she developed her practice in the area of family law - divorce, child support, custody, and guardianships - as well as estate planning - wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives/healthcare proxies and mediation.

Ashley established Wilburn Law Office, LLC in 2023. The company was founded with a commitment to providing an individual approach to each client's requirements.
